Accumulator or floop rolls can be made of steel or tungsten carbide. Tungsten carbide is particularly suitable in case of stainless steel sheets. In fact, since they are less subject to wear, they prevent the formation of marks on the steel sheet. Rolls supplied by Gallium both in steel and tungsten carbide, improve adherence and consequently the steel sheet pulling.
